Nausicaa Belt

I used two layers of worbla  (no foam in between), smoothed with about 7 layers of gesso.  I used silver spray paint then quickly brushed over it with black acrylic paint (that i first rubbed most of it off my brush with paper towel), then wiped down with paper towel.  The rivets were a great find at michaels - these decorative nails that I glued on.

Also the fabric of the belt I folded like bias tape to make it thick and sturdy.
